Rossmann and Moore, LLP

Historic Preservation

Using the National Historic Preservation Act, state and local historic preservation laws, and other federal and state environmental and planning laws, we have assisted local governments and non-profit groups in protecting historic structures and neighborhoods from damage. For example, we have helped clients preserve the Orinda Theater and prevent construction of the Route 710 project through historic neighborhoods in southern California. Antonio Rossmann was the first executive director of the National Center for Preservation Law. He and his partner, Roger Moore, also authored the chapter on historic preservation law in one of California’s leading land use treatises.
